Live Final Fantasy XV Media Event Reaches a Global Audience of 1.2 Million

Kenwood Experiences, an award-winning experiential marketing agency in San Francisco, CA, partnered with SQUARE ENIX to create an unprecedented live event for the publisher’s highly anticipated release of FINAL FANTASY XV.
 
The event, UNCOVERED: FINAL FANTASY XV, took place on March 30th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, targeting the globe. The event featured a pre-show gold carpet activities, live streaming in three languages featuring prominent video bloggers Greg Miller and Tim Gettys along with A-list celebrity guests.
 
Kenwood worked hand in hand with SQUARE ENIX to produce the entire show working on the strategy, overall story arc, and full branding of the Shrine Auditorium. Additionally Kenwood produced SQUARE ENIX’s exclusive press event over two days at the nearby Biltmore Hotel featuring presentations, one-on-one interviews and hands-on gaming demos.
 
Kenwood collaborated with the client team at SQUARE ENIX to design a first-of-its-kind pre-launch of FINAL FANTASY XV, creating a fan-centric event that provided an exciting, fast moving, and entertaining experience. The multi-format event uncovered many surprising pre-launch assets for gaming and non-gaming fans including a full CG movie, a multi-part anime series, a mobile game, a free playable demo, and various editions of FINAL FANTASY XV, all to build anticipation for the planned September 30th 2016 launch.
